Decodio specialises in software-defined radio technologies and developed a modular and flexible software solution for spectrum and network monitoring, with a focus on digital voice communications and PMR protocols.
The Decodio Spectrum Monitoring System describes the integration all of our products for signal analysis and PMR communication decoding. Thanks to a collection of integrated software components, the system covers all aspects of spectrum monitoring, from distributed signal acquisition to content analysis as well as emitter localization. The individual software components run on a conventional PC and do not require specialized digital signal processing hardware.
Decodio's integrated products supports a fully distributed deployment, where signal acquisition, processing and visualization are done in different physical locations.

Software components
Decodio's system consists of an integrated family of software components.
DECODIO RED
ACQUISITION, RECORDING, DECODINGDECODIO RED is the main software component of the system and provides core signal processing, channelization, emission detection and decoding features. A wide range of receivers and direction finders are supported.
DECODIO ReX is the analog demodulation only version of Decodio RED and was developed for customers not requiring digital decoding protocols.
DECODIO NET is a tailored version of our RED software offering only single digital radio protocol decoding, extremely useful for Network Operators specializing in TETRA, TETRAPOL, P25, and DMR systems.
DECODIO BLUE
DATABASE AND WEB-BASED VISUALIZATIONDecodio BLUE is a webserver and database application for logging, post-processing and browser-based data visualization.
DECODIO GREEN
CUSTOM POST-PROCESSING APIDecodio GREEN is a programming framework for custom, user-implemented post-processing.
DECODIO ORANGE
NETWORK PROTOCOL ANALYSISDecodio ORANGE provides advanced PDU visualization tools for PMR network troubleshooting and usage statistics analysis, extending the features provided by Decodio RED.
DECODIO PINK
NETWORK MONITORING AND ALARMING SYSTEMDecodio PINK provides custom rule-based alert triggering based on data decoded by Decodio RED.
DECODIO LOCALIZER
EMITTER LOCALIZATIONDecodio Localizer is an emitter-localization solution using signals from distributed time-synchronized acquisition stations as input for TDoA-based position estimation as well as the results from integrated direction-finding systems. The line of bearing and TDoA results are combined.

Decodio RUNNER extends the well proven and tested, state of the art air-interface analysis system Decodio NET by a location mapping capability to provide an advanced mobile drive-test solution for network verification, coverage assessment and troubleshooting
DECODIO QoS
Decodio QoS is a new approach for automatic PMR network monitoring based on Decodio’s RED, BLUE and PINK software components. Decodio QoS allows continuous monitoring of large-scale communication networks using multiple measurement sites, and is ideally suited for a wide range of applications such as quality assurance, automatic interference detection and network capacity troubleshooting. It operates over the air interface, independently from the network.
DECODIO TET360
Decodio TET360 is the little brother of the Decodio NET radio interface analysis system, which is already being used successfully in many places. The Decodio TET360 solution was developed and adapted on the basis of feedback from experienced measurement engineers specifically to support panoramic measurements for TETRA object radio coverage.
