Software Development Engineer

A small Zürich-based firm, Decodio quickly established itself as an international Spectrum Monitoring leader by offering tailorable and agile solutions that exceed customer expectations. We focus within digital radio quality of service, spectrum regulatory, and security markets and provide tailored solutions to our customers worldwide. As a growing company, we are seeking seasoned Software Development Engineers to contribute to the development of Decodio’s next generation solutions.

This position will play a key role in developing our software products, integrate new hardware and software, and assist in documentation development. Specifically, they will support creating signal processing algorithms, data visualizations and user interfaces. The Software Development Engineer will work with the Lead Engineer on the definition and realization of software modules with setting deadlines and priorities. Lastly, they will drive new feature implementation (end to end) from requirements engineering, architectural design and specification to implementation, and test and documentation.

Technical Sales Manager

We seek candidates that understand how to support the entire business development life cycle. Systems Integration Engineer

This position will analyze a wide variety of hardware and software pairings to meet customer needs. You will have great latitude to be creative, conceiving and testing various approaches to determine which is best suited to meet technical and programmatic objectives. This position must have advanced knowledge of radio frequency receivers and be able to plan, test, and develop systems up to expanded multisite networks.


Specifically, we need someone who can:

Design, assemble, configure, test and install systems based on customer’s specifications.

Work with software team to integrate customer hardware with our products.

Serve as our sensor, GNSS device, and hardware expert.

Perform field tests including: Drive Test, TDoA, AoA, site surveys, signal analysis applications, among others.

Support Marketing and Technical-Support teams as a subject matter expert.

Additionally serve as Decodio’s internal IT lead (installing new PCs, Updates, VPN, Telephones, Policies)

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, communication engineering or physics

3+ years of recent work experience in radio frequency measurement.

Experience with latest PCs, networking systems, and RF receivers.

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong commitment to quality, architecture and documentation

Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn

Fluency in English; German would be an asset
